Guaranty Home Mortgage Donates to There With Care & Nashville Children’s Alliance

Nashville, TN (May 31, 2022) – Guaranty Home Mortgage Corporation’s Team Building Event Results in Donations to There With Care and Nashville Children’s Alliance.

The Account Executives and Leadership team truly got into the spirit of giving by taking part in a team building event which resulted in a donation to both There With Care and Nashville Children’s Alliance. The result of their efforts was a generous donation of 30 handmade stuffed animals for children in need! This event took place on Tuesday, April 26 at GHMC headquarters as part of their Spring Sales Event.

GHMC worked with Impact 4 Good (www.impact4good.com), a company that runs team building programs, to plan an event that would be fun and meaningful for participants, while making a difference. The program selected was called “The Best Medicine.” During the activity, approximately 40 participants worked together to complete a donation of handmade stuffed animals that ranged from teddy bears to unicorns to support There With Care and Nashville Children’s Alliance.

There With Care’s Mission is to provide a wide range of thoughtful and fundamental services to families and children during the critical phase of a medical crisis. They serve families referred by medical agencies, by building a network of services and people who ease the burden of life’s day-to-day obligations with compassion and care. There With Care serves families with critically ill children by creating a welcoming community of support. They strive to foster a caring and equitable environment that embraces meaningful service, inclusivity, and respect.

The Nashville Children’s Alliance (NCA) is a nonprofit agency that provides services at no cost to children in Davidson County who have experienced sexual or severe physical abuse. Some of these services include front-line forensic interviews to assist in determining if abuse has occurred, weekly therapy sessions, court support, crisis services to families and support groups for non-offending parents. The Nashville Children’s Alliance, formerly the Nashville Child Advocacy Center, was founded in 1992 by a community task force seeking coordinated services and better outcomes for children when there were allegations of sexual or severe physical abuse. They work with the Department of Children’s Services, the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department, and the Office of the District Attorney General to ensure that NO child falls through the cracks. NCA also provides team training for these organizations on issues related to children who have suffered abuse and their ongoing needs.
